Regent Employees Brave the Cold to Clean Up Community

Frederick, MD, November 8, 2007 – Regent Education, the leading provider of financial aid management software solutions for higher education institutions, volunteered its employees to the Interfaith Housing Alliance on November 16th, 2007. Regent volunteers spent the morning hours fighting the blustery winds and chilly temperatures to rake leaves and plant bulbs. Part of the morning was spent at the Interfaith Housing Alliance’s main complex, and volunteering concluded at their multi-family rental property at Monocacy Woods.

“As members of the Frederick community, we feel a strong responsibility to help those that are less fortunate and contribute to the common good,” said Michael Ratti, CEO of Regent.

The Interfaith Housing of Western Maryland was founded in 1990, which now bears the name Interfaith Housing Alliance. The organization is now the premier not-for-profit affordable housing developer in the Western Maryland region with a recently broadened mission to serve South Central Pennsylvania. Nearly 1,000 families and senior citizens can give praise from the benefit of the organization’s affordable housing initiatives with roughly 300 more housing units in the pipeline.
