Regent Education Teams with Edison Venture Fund.

Frederick, MD, September 7, 2006 – Regent Education, the category leader of financial aid management software for Higher Education today announced the completion of a $3.6 million investment from Edison Venture Fund. Edison is the Mid-Atlantic’s leading investor for expanding technology companies. The proceeds will fund the expansion of sales, marketing and product development.

Gary Golding will serve on the Board of Directors along with Bill Donnelly an Edison Director Network Member and SVP of Business Development for Vocus. Lou Pugliese, former CEO of Blackboard, will serve as Regent's Chairman.
